What is the dress code? What should I wear?
The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional. Ladies should wear a full-length gown or cocktail dress, and gentlemen should wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie/bowtie. Please check out our "Wedding Attire" page for ideas or inspiration!
What will the weather be like this time of year?
July in Chattanooga is typically warm and sunny. Guests can expect daytime temperatures in the mid-80s to low-90s. We recommend lightweight, breathable fabrics and staying hydrated throughout the day.
Are kids welcome?
Yes! We would love to celebrate with all of our loved ones, including the little ones.
How do I RSVP? What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP through our wedding website by navigating to the "RSVP" tab and following the prompts. We would love to have RSVPs in by May 5, 2027. If you experience any issues, feel free to reach out to us directly.
Where is the wedding taking place?
Our ceremony and reception will take place at The Woodlands at Howe Farms, located at 7600 Runyan Road in Georgetown, TN!
What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?
For guests who prefer not to drive, shuttle service will be available to and from our designated hotels. Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are also readily available in the area for additional convenience. Detailed transportation information and shuttle schedules will be shared closer to the wedding date.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Yes, we have reserved room blocks at select hotels for our guests. Details, including booking links and deadlines, can be found on the "Travel & Accommodations" section of our website.
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?
Yes, shuttle transportation will be provided between the designated hotels and the venue. Additional details and schedules will be shared closer to the wedding date.
Where are you registered for wedding gifts?
We are registered in a few places; you can find the details on our Registry page.
What is the wedding day itinerary? What should I expect after the ceremony?
A detailed wedding day timeline will be shared closer to the date. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to enjoy a cocktail hour while we take a few photos, after which dinner, dancing, and celebrations will continue into the evening.
Can I take and post photos of the wedding on social media?
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony; we'd like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post photos using our wedding hashtag #meettherussells or tag us so we can see them too!
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! We will have a full bar set up during cocktail hour and during the reception.
